Fortnite Chapter 4 Season 4 is nearly here, and as is tradition we’re getting tons of huge Fortnite leaks for the brand-new season. We’ve got a good idea of quite a few elements that are hitting the game with the next Season and even the future beyond that for Fortnite. According to both Fortnite leaks and Epic, the coming months will be some of Fortnite’s biggest ever.

We already know this is due to be the final Season of Chapter 4, with the Chapter 5 start date of Fortnite coming up quickly now. it looks like Epic is making quite a few more changes than they have so far in this Chapter though. There are loads of reasons to be excited about the upcoming release.

Fortnite leaks for the upcoming season are pointing towards one of our most exciting yet. After there was a fair bit of disappointment in how Chapter 4 Season 4 was run, it makes sense that there’s a bit more coming this time. Hopefully, the Fortnite Chapter 4 Season 4 leaks are a good indication of a bit of a brighter season than our current one.

The Finale – Is There a Live Event? Fortnite C4 S4 leaks

Recent leaks have pointed towards a brand-new live event coming soon. However, that likely won’t be the case. Epic lately has really cut back on the number of Fortnite live events they hold. They pretty much only do them at the end of Chapters now. We got 10 in Chapter 1, eight in Chapter 2, but only one in 3 and none so far in 4. We’re probably only getting a new event at the end of the next season.

While a few test files are showing up for an event, it’s much more likely that these are coming for the end of Chapter blowout. It’s likely they’ll stay in the files all the way through to the end of Chapter 4. While some Fortnite Chapter 4 Season 4 leaks are talking about a live event, it’s much more likely at the end of the season than the start.

Map Changes

The big question right now is what the map changes for Fortnite Chapter 4 Season 4 are going to be. Fortnite leaks have been pretty vague so far. We’ll keep this updated if we get any more solid info. Compared to last season’s Jungle leaking really early, things are a bit harder to predict this time.

Hopefully, there are more changes than just the new biome. Given how they’ve run C4 so far though, it seems like this might be the only big change for the season. The Citadel will remain a wasteland until Chapter 4 ends, in all likelihood. Although with a new biome, the best landing spots in Fortnite are bound to change.

Collabs – Fortnite Chapter 4 Season 4 Leaks

At this point, half the Fortnite player base gets more excited for a new collab than they do for brand-new items. This is one area where we’ve already gotten quite a few Fortnite leaks, although the timing is still a bit unknown.

One collab we know a lot about already is the Fortnite X Doctor Who crossover. This was originally timed for next November, to coincide with some anniversary specials for the show. The latest leaks say this has been pushed back though. They’ll now be arriving next January, so one of the planned skins has been cancelled too. This likely won’t be a part of the next collab.

Fortnite X Lego

Another major leak that’s basically public knowledge is the Lego crossover. This will apparently be hitting next Chapter. This is supposed to be a bigger colalb than what we normally get. There’s some UNrealFN maps expected alongside the normal content. This one is supposedly coming next November, so it might just make it into Fortnite Chapter 4 Season 4 leaks.

Fortnite X Rosalia

A recent leak has shown an emote featuring the artist is coming soon. This could pop up before the end of Fortnite C4 S3 though. It isn’t necessarily one of the Fortnite C4 S4 leaks that we have to wait till next season for.

Punchcard Quests

This one is a bigger deal than the name might imply. We’re supposedly getting the Punchcard quest system making a return. This was only recently taken out in favor of slower milestone styles for the quests and rewards. If you’ve been missing the older system that lets you gradually earn XP for just about every task, there’s good news. According to Fortnite leaks, they’re making a return for the next season.

Epic has already put a new punchcard icon into the files. This implies they’re doing something to bring them back. This would make it the second time in Chapter 4 Epic has made a large sweeping change to how the game’s quests work and then ditched it at the next opportunity. Thankfully both times have been in favor of the more popular older option though.

Augment Fortnite Chapter 4 Season 4 Leaks

Chapter 4’s headline new ability is getting a big expansion for the final season. There will be Legendary tier Augments added to the game. According to Fortnite leakers, these will be special Augments that drop from Caches rather than the normal selection process. They’ll have extra powers above what you can normally get.

If they function according to how they’re described in Fortnite C4 S4 leaks, it will add a bit more incentive to go after the Caches. These don’t seem to be the focus for a lot of players right now. Compared to supply drops their timed mechanic has often made them underpowered, so it’s great they’re getting a bit more of a reason to exist in the Fortnite chapter 4 Season 4 leaks. These are some of the legendary Augments that are in the files.

• Shield Increase – Game duration increase to overshield or shield bar
• Siphon – You get shield or health with a kill

New Exotics – Fortnite Chapter 4 Season 4 Leaks

Prominent Fortnite leaks so far have pointed to a new batch of exotics. These seem to be a reappraisal of the bow mechanic weapons we’ve seen in the past. Rather than being stuck with such an unpopular weapon though, those same bow effects have been applied to different weapons. The more useless ones are gone though and seem to have been replaced with similar effects that might have more utility, like the recon flares and putting balloons on players. These are the guns that have leaked as new Fortnite exotic weapons.

Some of these sound really fun. The Rift pistol in particular seems crazy, if it is a gun that fires a rift to go effect. The Boogie Bomb Launcher may end up being crazy OP too given what players can do with boogie bombs already.

Chapter 4 Season 4 Release Date

The last of the Fortnite leaks for Chapter 4 Season 4 is the release date. Epic has scheduled a teaser for the season to drop on August 22, 21, and 20. After this, we’ll see the season as a whole go live on August 22.

Those are all of the Fortnite Chapter 4 Season 4 leaks. What about further reaching leaks though? There are still major changes and updates which we’ve known about for a while that are yet to show up in-game. These are the other Fortnite leaks we might be waiting until Chapter 5 to see delivered.

New Mechanics – Fortnite Leaks

There are a few new movement mechanics which have been tested out for a little while now. These are now reaching a more developed form though. Fortnite leaks are even showing off how the wall running might work in-game. This is what we’ve seen so far.

That’s the wall running and kicking off mechanic. There are others floating around most lists of Fortnite leaks too like the double jump, but this was actually used already with the last Fortnite X Star Wars crossover. It might be making a return but it’s too early to tell if it’s a separate Fortnite leak or just leftover files from that event’s Jedi powers.

We might also see hurdling return. Don’t count on it though! Out of all the Fortnite C4 S4 leaks, bringing back C4 S1’s headline new movement seems the most far-fetched.

Car Racing Fortnite Leaks

The Fortnite Car Racing mode has apparently been leaked as a totally new side. It’ll be its own mode, alongside Battle Royle, Creative, and Fortnite Ranked Mode. This will be a car racing game mode with casual and ranked components, and possibly even a section where you can customize and build your own car.
